Social networking is something I only attempt in real life and then somewhat poorly, perhapsA thing of the past for me.

May I recommend to you, for hosting, that you contact someone at broken ninja or red meteor dot net

Yes - this is a personal recommendation (I know the guy, we used to share a house, he does my hosting).  It is not spam or marketting driven in any way.  He can be highly professional and has managed to do so to the extent that when he moved from hosting me for free to charging me I was happy to stay (his pricing is competetive too!).

If you want to see how snappy his hosting is on bandwidth - check my blog.  If your site gets heavy traffic he is data centre based and can buy extra bandwidth on demand to keep you snappy too.
